Self Portrait in Greens and Reds

2014, Oil on Hardboard, 10"x 8"
#172

I paint one of these every few years, if for no other reason than to chronicle the aging process. I also grew this cool beard since the last one. Proof positive that artists never grow up, we just get older.

Choose Civility

This is a juried exhibit at the Washington County Arts Council. The Opening Reception is Saturday, December 11, 6-9 pm.

Choose Civility is a community-wide initiative that has been launched in Washington County this year aiming to enhance respect, empathy and tolerance and thereby improve our community's quality of life.

My small part in this exhibit is the painting Self Portrait with Trees from the series Full Circle.
